Grading & Condition
What do Premium, Very Good and Fair mean?
Every device we sell goes through a 32-point inspection and gets one of three tiers based on how it looks and tests:
Premium — Looks unused. The screen reads flawless from arm's length. Maybe a couple of faint hairline marks under 2mm on the frame that you'd have to look for. No dents, no chips. Battery certified at 90% or higher. Passes 100% of our inspection.
Very Good — Light signs of use. The screen might have a few small scratches under 2mm — invisible when the display's on. The frame shows the kind of marks you'd expect after a few months in a case. No dents, no cracks. Battery at 85% or higher. Passes 100% of inspection.
Fair — Visible wear. Real scratches on the screen and body, possibly a small dent. But no cracks, no dead pixels, no structural damage. Battery at 80% or higher. Still passes 100% of our function tests. Sold as-is — the price reflects it.
Do you check battery health?
Yes. Battery health is tested on every device and listed on the product page where relevant. We don't sell units with severely degraded batteries — our minimum battery health standard is stated on each listing.
Are the phones already wiped for data and factory reset?
Yes — all phones are wiped for any old data, and factory reset.
What do you check on every device?
Before any device is listed, it goes through the following checks: power button and all hardware buttons; screen touch response, display quality and dead pixels; front and rear cameras; speakers, microphone and earpiece; WiFi, Bluetooth and cellular connectivity; charging port and charging function; battery health; Face ID / Touch ID / fingerprint sensor where applicable; network unlock status (all phones are sold unlocked); and factory reset and data wipe confirmed.
Are the devices unlocked?
Yes. All phones sold by Tech Pasar are network unlocked and will work with any Singapore SIM card (Singtel, StarHub, M1, MVNO). Any included accessories are listed on the product page.
Warranty
What warranty do you offer?
All Premium and Very Good devices come with a 6-month limited warranty from the date of delivery, covering:
• Defects in materials or workmanship that affect the normal functioning of the product
• Battery health falling below 80% within the warranty period (for products with rechargeable batteries, e.g., mobile phones and laptops)
Fair tier devices are sold as-is, without warranty — the price reflects this.
What does the warranty cover?
Hardware defects and functionality issues under normal use — screen faults, battery failure, port and button issues. Also covers battery health falling below 80% within the warranty period for phones and laptops.
Does not cover physical damage, liquid damage, unauthorised repairs, or normal wear and tear.
Do you offer exchanges or replacements?
No. All approved warranty claims are resolved via refund to your original payment method only. We do not offer exchanges or repairs.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Email support@techpasar.com or WhatsApp [number] with your order number, a description of the issue, and a photo or video showing the fault. If your claim is approved, we will process a refund to your original payment method. We do not offer exchanges or repairs.
My device arrived not working — what do I do?
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Email support@techpasar.com or WhatsApp [number] with your order number, a description of the issue, and a short video or photo.
Dead-on-arrival (DOA) cases are treated as urgent and handled separately from standard warranty claims — we will prioritise your case and arrange a refund.
I received the wrong item — what do I do?
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@techpasar.com or WhatsApp [number] with your order number and a photo of the item received. We'll arrange the correct replacement and collection of the wrong item at no cost to you.
Returns
What is your return policy?
14-day returns from the date of delivery. Contact us within 14 days and we'll arrange it.
Once your return is approved, we will provide you with return instructions including the pick up details. Please do not send any items back before contacting us — unapproved returns cannot be processed.
What condition does the item need to be in?
Same condition as received, with all accessories included. We can't accept returns on devices with new physical damage.

How long does a refund take?
5–7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned device. The refund will be returned to your original payment method. Your bank may take additional time to reflect the amount.
Do you offer exchanges?
No. Tech Pasar does not offer exchanges. All approved returns are resolved via refund to your original payment method only.
Delivery
Do you deliver islandwide?
Yes — we deliver to all addresses in Singapore.
How fast is delivery?
Standard delivery takes 3–5 business days from the date your order is confirmed and shipped.
Delivery days are Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays begin processing on the next business day.
Is self-collection available?
We do not currently offer same-day delivery, next-day delivery or self-collection. All orders are delivered islandwide via standard delivery within 3–5 business days.
How do I track my delivery?
A tracking number and link will be sent to your email once your order is dispatched. You can use this to monitor your delivery status directly with the courier.

Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
Tech Pasar accepts:
• Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard) via Shopify Payments
• PayNow
All transactions are processed securely. Tech Pasar does not store your card details.
Is it safe to pay on Tech Pasar?
Yes. Tech Pasar runs on Shopify with industry-standard SSL encryption. Your payment details are handled directly by Shopify Payments and are never stored on our end.
My payment didn't go through. What now?
If your payment fails at checkout:
1. Check that your card details are entered correctly
2. Ensure your billing address matches your card records
3. Try a different browser or clear your cache
4. Contact your bank to confirm there are no blocks on the transaction

I paid via PayNow but haven't received confirmation
PayNow payments are usually reflected within a few minutes. If you completed your PayNow transfer but haven't received an order confirmation email after 30 minutes:
1. Check your spam folder
2. Confirm the transfer was sent to the correct PayNow details
3. Contact us at support@techpasar.com with your transfer reference number and we'll look into it.
Will I receive an invoice?
Yes. An order confirmation email is sent to you automatically after every successful order. If you need a formal invoice, contact us at support@techpasar.com with your order number.

Who is Tech Pasar?
Tech Pasar is a Singapore-based certified refurbished electronics retailer. We source, inspect, grade and warrant every device ourselves — phones, laptops, tablets and audio from brands like Apple, Samsung, OnePlus, Sonos and more.
We exist because the refurbished market in Singapore is full of unknowns — random listings, grey-market imports, devices sold with no grading and no recourse. Tech Pasar is the alternative: a structured, trustworthy place to buy quality second-life electronics at better prices.
Why buy refurbished tech?
Buying refurbished means getting a quality device at a meaningful discount — often 30–50% below retail — without the uncertainty of buying used. Every Tech Pasar device is individually inspected, graded Premium / Very Good / Fair, and (except Fair) covered by warranty. You know exactly what condition the device is in before you buy.
It's also better for the environment: every refurbished device is one less unit headed to landfill.
Are you an authorised reseller?
No. We are an independent refurbisher, not an authorised reseller of any brand. Devices are sold as refurbished/used and are not covered by the original manufacturer warranty.
